Getting an MMR booster is typically cheaper and easier than checking to see if you’re still immune. Lots of PCPs will be able to give it on the spot as opposed to sending out bloodwork and having to come back.

Also if f you’re due for a tetanus booster you’ll most likely get DTaP, which will give you a booster for diphtheria and pertussis. At worst you’ll get td. There is no more stand alone tetanus vaccine in the states.
I got a booster in college because I needed my records transferred to register and the health office made me a bet they could get me vaccinated before I got off hold with the doctors office.
Great post and replies everyone ! I remember back in the nineties it was on the news and recommended for a certain age group and it was widely publicized. All of us nurses of that age group had a booster. I did. The MMR also covers for mumps and Rubella. Mumps can cause temp. weakening of sperm. 👋👋💙
