I like the texture to the damaged bodywork it’s gone from smooth to wrinkled. And the whole scene itself, with the lighting looks like it could be an establishing shot from The Walking Dead, especially with the absence of people.
Man this is both really cool and ages me at the same time; first vehicle my wife and I bought new was a 2001 Taurus, real trooper for almost a decade. RIP to the model which saved Ford from the brink of bankruptcy.
Absurdly long car. Pointlessly long, and all bumpers, too, a nightmare to parallel park. In a world where the proper panther Crown Vic still existed, the Taurus made no goddamn sense.
I swear for some reason the steering angle on these things was really limited too compared to literally every other FWD vehicle. My guess is the 3.0 Vulcan engine was actually too wide in there so they had to steal a bit of space from where the front wheels would normally track
Couldn't tell you. You've blown past the limits of the car stuff I know lol. I never really had a problem getting it where I needed it to go, but like I said it was my first car, and I learned to drive on a manual 96 Ford escort and a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer, so my perspective was... Uninformed lol
