This is serious. The response from other NATO members, including the UK in supporting Denmark, Greenland (& Canada) has been lukewarm to say the least; not good enough.

Vance has just made further comments that if Trump wants to take Greenland, he will - perilously close to a declaration of war.

Trump’s administration sees Europe as weak and freeloading off US power. They pulled back from Ukraine forcing Europes focus on that crisis and is now setting up a new front in Greenland.
Best case scenario is Europe invests more in defence.
Worst case scenario is NATO split then … can’t say it 😔
