Mine was an Irish immigrant past- at the time there were signs saying "No Irish need apply." A country built of immigrants that doesn't welcome immigration. How insane we are.
Your comment doesn’t make sense.
“Naturalization is the process by which U.S. citizenship is granted to a lawful permanent resident after meeting the requirements established by Congress in the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA).” (Uscis website)
Naturalized citizens are immigrants.
Oops, guess my point was unclear… aside from Native Americans or Native Alaskans, 97.1% of Americans are here b c of some form of historical immigration. If I’m missing something, lmk.
My ancestors migrated here from Asia about 12,000 years ago! The Clovis culture, possibly of European origin, came here 14-16,000 years ago and were displaced by my ancestors. Japan, has a similar native population displacement.🤔
And we ALL came out of Africa!👍🏻 We displaced and killed hundreds of thousands of other human varieties during our migrations east and northward. Human history is written with the blood of conquered peoples! My Apache ancestors were definitely not peaceful to their neighbors!😒
