So the short version:

>Got new IPhone 15pro
>Migrate data from old phone (14pro) to new phone
>Prompted to update firmware
>Update completes, phone reboots
>Was fine for about 3 days, then began randomly dc-ing BT
>OS nuked itself on Thursday
>Apple store had to replace it due to bootloop glitch.

It’s kind of wild to me that just migrating data (through their official means) managed to absolutely brick that phone so hard, I spent 2 1/2 hours at my local
Apple Store and they couldn’t even get it to power on anymore despite all their dongles and specialized software tools.

Fun little end to the saga, they told me they’re escalating this up the chain and my old phone (a 5 day old 15pro) will be autopsied by a team to determine how it failed. If there’s an update in the next few months to address this issue, I’ll feel like an explorer finding a rare artifact 😆
