But isn't that the point? You trade damage for versatility and mobility. Why would they also make it hit as hard as a GS?

I always saw the IG as like a battle medic w/ a short attention span. You fly through the air w/ your bug, smack a monsters dumpy, and occasionally buff your allies.

I played IG in sunbreak with two of my friends, one had a DPSchecker and saw I was on par with them (swaxe and hunting horn). So yeah bouncy glaive is fun and you can do damage with it so have fun
