Real facts: I’m in good physical health, but if I had to pedal a cargo bike + my kids’ weight + my own I’d never make it out of the Midtown Greenway ramps. We’d just be stuck down there. 😆

This weekend an older woman walked up as my kids were getting out of our bike at the playground.
"I admire you so much. I do not have the physical strength to pedal a bike that weighs that much with kids in it!"
Me: "Oh! No need to admire me. This is an ebike, which makes it so easy!"

I had a Rad Rover prior but it was too tall, and I wanted to pack things with me.
That's many of us!
Direct moment-to-moment control over how much/little effort we put in our active transportation AND lots of evidence shows we get more exercise as a result 😎
& as a fat, disabled woman, it really touched me to hear that's what he perceived.
