The King can't comment on the annexation of Canada as it wouldn't be "proper".

Starmer can't comment on Canada in case he angers Trump.

The only UK leader to show any sign of support for Canada is Ed Davey.

We're really feeling the impotence of the Monarchy and the Commonwealth right now.

Good point, but also not, of course 😀 Actual monarchies are much worse than democracy. Denmark is not an actual monarchy. But consider whether the rules of your democracy need to be adjusted. As we all know, the most important thing is that the rights of minorities are respected.
