totally different. found-1, caris etc do your genomic/somatic mutations. ID's more about your cancer + what drugs might work. Signatera is a "bespoke" blood test, after a clear scan they draw blood + get cell slides from pathology. they build a a profile of Tammy's cancer and monitor with blood...

draws quarterly. both healthy + cancerous cells shed dead ones. if they see a rise in your blood tests that means there is possibly some cancer activity growing. they call it a ct DNA test (circulating tumor dna). this test was just approved by the FDA for breast + ovarian in Feb

(medicare will now pay) a recent study found that the signatera test ID'd breast cancer recurrence 6-24 months before showing up on a scan. only your oncologist can put in the initial request, but then they will send a phlebotomist to your house to draw!

i HIGHLY recommend, it can give you some peace of mind. they also use this test while in treatment to track if its working to reduce the amount of CT scans. something to ask your oncologist about.

staying positive is doctors orders! (from someone who is not a doctor 😍). i was desperate for signs of hope at that time, always here any time you need a bump! if you have not had surgery yet i highly recommend considering HIPEC, i believe its a key reason i have done as well as i have

not sure what stage you were but have they not discussed a maintenance drug with you? i did Avastin for 18 months after but most now go on PARP inhibitors if you have certain mutations

well, since our benchmark is chemo ITS A BREEZE! 😂 my biggest issue was major joint pain, i felt like i was 80 years old and bloody noses. i took a mass of anti-inflammation supplements + kept exercising, so i likely mitigated it a bit. also when really exerted myself i needed short naps
