Geez. I've been a martial artist since I could walk. Hold a 7th degree black belt. I've sparred many amazing fighters over the yrs. I've had bad days. The best I know have as well.

Lucanis: 1 yr of physical & mental torture + death of his grandma. Yet, he still made Ghilly bleed. He's a rock star.

I went into that battle knowing we were gonna get our asses handed to us. It was way too early in the story to off one of the main antagonists. That's like saying the Inquisitor should have killed Corypheus in Haven. We wouldn't have much of a game if that had happened.

So many people failed in this game. You had a major antagonist where his life’s work came to absolutely nothing.

Failure is beautiful sometimes. There’s a book I’ve been thinking a lot about due to this game “The Nobility of Failure” and that there is a certain dignity in it(more nuanced tho)

People tend to forget that Lucanis was still dealing with a lot of things. The "death" of his grandmother, the issue with Spite, Illario acting suspicious asf, and getting his revenge on Zara.
