People aren’t fighting you for your bait because her supporters of the past 6+ years have had to defend her relentlessly from bullshit from all sides & while we’re ready to do it at any second & ready to back her, you aren’t worth it. The time for unity was November, when we could’ve elected her.

There’s fear all around, but she’s not in office. She’s not currently an elected official. Refusing to confront your friends & family or your own biases helped ensure that. She DOESN’T owe you anything, but she has spoken anyway while you’ve ignored those moments. Black women don’t owe you either.

I can add Biden doesn’t owe you & has given all of you more grace than deserved, aside from the Obamas not owing you. They all told you to vote. You didn’t care enough. Your purity politics, lack of understanding, lack of ownership, tolerance of hatred, or embrace of hatred took precedence.

It’s on white people to fix things. Start with the convos in your own circles that you needed to have prior to the election. Help Dems in the Special Elections instead of falling for the admin’s intentional rage bait or bashing leadership. Help WI elect Judge Crawford. She’ll matter in 2028 too.

Some people won’t have capacity & that’s understandable. It’s still not okay to be asking Black women to be your shields or to do work that for 6-10+ years you have abdicated responsibility in doing yourselves. Stop only crediting white people telling you parts of what she had for months.

I appreciate Walz doing his tour but some remarks have stood out negatively because making apologies for the campaign comes off as weakness. I don’t care for the guy on an anniversary book tour for his anticapitalist book doing the same routine he has for a decade feeding off the horseshoe’s anger.
