AI used for the purposes of making things easier, BUT NOT OUTRIGHT REPLACING PEOPLE, is fine.
Now when AI replaces artists, writers, actors and so on with generative AI, then it's bad.

As I've said before, it's very handy as a tool. Once it starts replacing real people's real jobs/hobbies, it's a threat.

Take Square Enix for example:

Good use: FF7 Remake/Rebirth used it for with lip sync/facial animations.

Even better, in the book Square Enix published about using it in FF7 Remake/Rebirth was that it didn't put the people who worked on those aspects out of a job. It only made what they did easier so they could focus on touch-ups/script adjustments.

One of the many reasons those games look incredible.
