Well, out of curiosity, I tried asking him to write a Harry Potter fanfic. Moreover, I even had an idea of what I would like to read, but I was too lazy to write everything. It was terrible.

Firstly, the AI was constantly trying to reduce everything to some maximally dull and boring clichés, predictable to the point of gnashing of teeth. It was extremely reminiscent of a parody.

It even seemed to me that the program was in some sense mocking me, although I understood that this was impossible. Further: the AI constantly forgot my instructions regarding the characters' personalities and tried to make them as flat as possible, almost caricatured.

I am not anti-AI, but AI is all artificial and no real intelligence. it is very, very clever programming, but it's not truly intelligence by any means.

GPT is only good for editing works and nothing else. You tell it to come up with an idea and all you'll get is a bunch of cliche tropes glued together.
