I'd say the main "reason I cannot play the remaster" is that I don't own a copy of the remaster, whereas somehow I ended up with 3 legitimate licenses to the original.

That and, Blizzard has demonstrated that their phone home software aren't forever anymore and i'm not interested in renting.
