I haven't seen the Harrison/Belew tour irl, but videos of several of their concerts have shown up in various places, so I've seen them one-step-removed! Great takes of 'Remain In Light' album tracks by several of the original participants as well as an excellent band! #AT40 #TalkingHeads

My sister (16) & I (18) traveled from Tampa, FL & stayed at the 47th St YMCA. While we were touristing, there were ads about a Dr Pepper concert with the Talking Heads & we decided to go. It was at the Wollman Rink & we sat up in the tree area. Such a great concert!

With the immense influence Talking Heads has had on later bands and muscicians and songwriters, I can't picture anyone back then saw their coming importance, but naturally loved what they saw.

So you were one of few and lucky to see them before. I'll bet it was every bit as good as I imagine too.
