I finished Final Fantasy IX last night and I’m not sure how I can recover from this. This game covers themes of mental health so well and I related to so much of what they went through. Ahhhh I love soooo much about this game….until Garland shows up. Still can’t wrap my head around how all the INCREDIBLE character writing with Vivi and Steiner and the others just…..doesn’t extend to the villains.

Final Fantasy 9 was the first game that got me into the series when it came out. I would always start from one of my brothers save files before the 2nd fight with Beatrix in Cleyra. This game has some of the best music and is hands down my favorite Final Fantasy of all time. I love this game so much

FfIX is my personal favorite. It's my first final fantasy and I used to replay it fairly often. Each time I played i feel like I related to a different character. I am so glad that you enjoyed it!

IX is ridiculously under rated, mostly because it had cartoonish graphics on release. The interplay of the characters and story are brilliant. And I'd personally say that the way the side quests meld with each other and the main journey is some of the best that's ever been done in games.
