Just my internal thoughts, but I think it’s worth noting how long it took this cycle to reach its peak and how things change throughout it. We’re also more than likely building for a new manager and Pep will lay the foundations over the next couple of years. Really excited for the future.

Luckily, it seems there is an acceptance now that we just move forward and usher in a new era. But the levels of success we’ve had won’t happen overnight. Pep’s second transfer window set up the last 9 years and the club will have to be just as good in the summer to ensure the new era starts well

I think that last point is why we’ve reached the end of this cycle so abruptly and I believe Pep’s found it harder to move some of these guys out of the club because they are his players, they’ve been there, done it and proven it to him over the last 9 years.

It takes years of building, tactical adjustments and refinement. Some players stayed for the journey whilst others jumped off early. It will take years to get back to the treble level and it requirements laser like precision in the transfer market and a ruthlessness to offload players

I feel the fan base online expects us to sign a load of players and magically everything is fixed overnight. However, if we look at our previous build all the way from Pep’s second season to the peak - the treble.
