Discrimination against Black trans individuals is also prevalent within our communities. Certain allies within the LGBTQ community do not offer their support to trans people who are black.

Some individuals who advocate for Black lives may not extend their support to Black individuals who are trans because their Discrimination manifests itself through racism and transphobia.
