Also, there is *literally* no sound logic for ending the practice; removing corrupt & inhumane officers from the system benefits everyone in their jurisdiction

In the wake of the murder of George Floyd, Trump established a national database tracking police misconduct. Before this, “bad cops” could move easily between police depts run by different state & local municipalities.
Trump is shutting it down; the closure of the database is transparently racist.
