Each of the last 17 months has been at least 1.5 °C (2.7 °F) warmer than the corresponding 1850 to 1900 monthly average.

The largest warm anomalies occurred over the Northern mid and high latitude land areas.
An area of significant relative cooling was present in Central Antarctica.

By contrast only 0.01% of the Earth's surface had a record cold monthly average.

If this does occur, it will bring some modest relative cooling to the early part of 2025.

In Berkeley Earth's analysis it is also expected to exceed 1.5 °C (2.7 °F) above the 1850-1900 average.
