That's awesome! I'd love to have a fanbinding of one of my favourite fics, but I don't think someone would go for a 500K behemoth from a niche fandom. *g*

500k is indeed a LOT! XD I think the highest wordcount I've seen in the offers was 200k, and that's already a hefty book. 500k is a huge chonk! I know though that some bidders go for books over several auctions/years and get their super long fics bound in several volumes - could be an option!

If the fic can be thematically split in a way that makes sense, that would definitely be an option! In this case, though, I'm not so sure. I've already read it twice and wouldn't really know how to do it.

It doesn't need to be thematically. It's not written as a trilogy or similar, after all. But you could put breaks if there's a cliffhanger, or a resolution of some plot point, or if there's different settings because of the characters travelling. Stuff like that. 😊

Yeah, that's what I meant! There's no really good stopping point, because everything is so intricately connected.
