//Ironically, your prior wish is kinda done in Romhacks. Pokemon Crystal Clear by ShockS1ayer (found on their discord) is an open world version of pokemon crystal that is amazingly well done, then there is pokemon ROWE which is a less robust version but for Ruby/Sapphire.
