Jerry Dipoto is a known liar, nothing he says should ever be believed. The Mariners do not respect their fans at all and do not deserve even the slightest benefit of the doubt. They will do nothing, be cheap, and then promote each other next season for all of their success.

How on Earth do they think they can acquire “impact” if no team wants their prospects, however good they might be, and they won’t trade a starter? Seems like a catch 22 to me.
