I love this. I know the quote is by Maggie Kuhn, but I believe it was spray-painted on a house in Chillicothe, Ohio. You have to wonder about the life of the brave person who did it.
Yes, I was fairly surprised when I saw it somewhere say that because Chillicothe is just east of the Greater Cincinnati area. It’s a depressed area. I always wonder about the life of the person who put it there.
Opening up is sometimes the most difficult thing to do. When courage to speak is the only option, and revealing hidden things is fearful, speak it softly or SHOUT it from a rooftop. Words matter.
