What’s the upside of coming out against Biden remaining? Saying nothing would be prudent at this point. Do they think it will somehow ingratiate them with independent voters? I know it would tick me off if I lived in either of those districts. Iowa Dems are so deep in the weeds. Get new advisors!

I would not have advised them to do it.
But there is a potential upside if you assume Biden will lose their districts by a large margin.
