Protect their water from wild birds. A raven in my yard had avian pox so bad it became blind and when I took it to the wildlife rescue they were SO freaked out by the severity and told me to throw everything that touched it away and made me sterilize my hands before I left. They were shaking.

Had to make the decision to leave mine behind when we moved from TX to MI recently. Would love to start a new flock. Big coop and run on the new property. But, I'm going to hold off for now. Good luck.

Yep. And we live in a major Canadian Geese flyover now. And, we're surrounded by corn fields. Only responsible way I can see is to fully cover and enclose the coop and run. Not on my project want to list at the moment. Ha. Glad at least one chicken owner is being responsible. Thx for that.

Yep. They're a daily sight in the sky. Expecting the fields to be covered soon as well. Will mitigate for that soon as best I can. Only solace is at least I now live in a state that believes in science and will at least try to handle it.
