Even better idea: Germany should allow tankers carrying Russian gas to dock at their ports, impound the cargo in the name of democracy, then compensate the ship's CREW (not its owner) at the price ceiling set by sanctions on Russian's gas.
Unfortunately, Germany will never be this based.
