music in video games is icing on cake to me; if it looks bad then it makes the cake taste good, sometimes it's just the right amount on top of a masterpiece, but when it's bad, it's REALLY bad.

Im gonna say it again: music is VITAL to games. Music guides players. Music enhances emotional moments. Music is so so so important. Funny enough video games are modern operas in the way music is needed to buoy the emotional stakes.

But im sorry, MvC is a high-paced fighter with things flying at 100 MPH. The music shouldnt sound like its leaving room for dialogue to happen.
Jokes aside, you would likely have a completely different experience in most of them.
