It's sad Axl isn't liked more. His voice in X7 made him seem like a whiny boy, although he just wanted to impress X and Zero. His character (and voice) was handled a lot better in X8; I like his determination and his courage that inspired X and Zero to continue to fight.

The different gameplay styles in X8 was a really nice feature and fun
