Like yeah, this guy voted for the “mass deportations now” campaign and probably thought he was safe. But for every American citizen targeted by ICE, there are dozens of people who didn’t vote for this who are having their lives torn apart

It’s also worth noting that the Biden administration deported a lot of people and the Harris campaign explicitly promised to be tougher on immigration. It’s one of a handful of policies where both parties are bad
Most of Biden’s deportations were at the border (it’s all very messy bc we use the same word for refusing border crossings and internal removals). Some may disagree but I think a lot of Americans don’t view ICE roundups in communities and turning people away at the border the same way
