⠀When the signal came .. Every living being , in every nearby star system felt it . The chittering of billions . The sound of the ocean . The screaming of a planet as it went into labor .
⠀Nowhere else .. Could the fleet house a nursery for a bioform as great and terrible as this .

⠀The monstrous organism was nearly fifteen miles long .. A space -faring Hive Ship , the largest of its breed , rose from the depths of the ocean world into the skies .
