I don’t think anyone pays attention to it anymore and really anyone can get any ending. Except for .gov I think

Have you thought of maybe .actor or .tv? You might be able to make a cool domain name configuration with those!

No. It’s not just for my acting work. It’s an umbrella for multiple companies and services I am part of.

I’m considering .org or .pro for that reason. .com names are mostly taken. But I’m unsure what people think of them, both professionalism and legitimacy.

Hmm. .org does make me think of charity or non-profits first. I think .pro is more of a generic domain name for professionals of all types, so that would work for what you're aiming for.

It meant something way back when tlds meant something, not so much now with so much domain squatting. I think only country level and .gov have any validation now.
