Diagnosed AuDHD after 50yo. It was a rare boys only diagnosis during the decades I was growing up & seen as an 'alien' way of existing. I heard 'it's almost as bad as ' about it as a kid.
Looking at the family up & down now, it's familial IMHO. It's expressed diff every gen in my family.

The first person to be diagnosed as autistic passed away last year at 89 years old. Please remember this if you find yourself being hypercritical of “all these people being diagnosed as autistic now”. The first documented clinical autism diagnosis was made less than 100 years ago.
