If a Black person, especially a Black woman, had even one of those things on their record, they’d be done. No second chances, no loyal base backing them up, no media spin trying to make it sound better. They’d be labeled every name in the book and dragged through the mud without hesitation.
It kills me that like Al Franken stepped down for far less than what any of these asswipes have done. And personally thought it was comedy at the time 🤷🏻♀️. Too good of people for our own good at times.
