Was nervous about Meslier today, especially when he fumbled the cross into box. He was no better or worse than Darlow (Darlow did same fumble against Harrogate). His footwork was needed today though, which Darlow lacks. If we're not getting a new keeper, Meslier is our best bet I think. #lufc - ThreadSky

If he can have a run of calm games, a few saves made, no silly goals conceded, then I think his confidence will build. Dropping him today would have killed that entirely. Right call by Farke imo, but we will see if it pans out.

Personally think Cooper and Trafford would not look gr8 in our goal at corners. Even with
Pascal we lack height and aggression(Piroe).
OTH we are more nippy & skilful elsewhere on pitch and hence able to retain possession and avoid corners.

I think Farke did the right thing today. But I did feel the nervousness in the crowd in the first half. I believe Mes’s confidence is at rock bottom. But he’ll come back. 2 shots and 2 saves made today. He has to look at the positives. I’m glad he kept a clean sheet.

Yep. I have to agree with you. I don’t think there’s a good enough replacement out there this window. So let’s stick rather than twist. Buendia would be a great addition and by the looks of things a centre back. We could do with a left back, possibly

I personally think Meslier will be just good enough for us for the rest of this season. I think we then go for Trafford as personally think Burnley will slip up. All it takes is for the chasing pack to string a few wins together and they’ll be right there. Here’s hoping at least. Buendia in?

First half in the stadium felt like the atmosphere around him was causing an issue, crowd nerves on crosses etc. Feels like if we could get a big improvement in it'd be a major step to promotion, but also might be hard to find.

Yeah second half till 80 minutes felt ok. I suppose Farke has to think squad dynamics as well. Maybe at least a number 2 who could justifiably come in if there's another mistake would be enough.

There was a moment when Amps knocked ball out for a corner. If he had trust in his keeper he leaves it for Meslier to mop up. I'll back Meslier cos he Leeds but still feel he needs a rest.
