As a junior myself, I’d say the opposite argument can be true. Starter packs let me create a pack early for my field and post it. All the big people in my community shared it and I got great traction on here quickly.
I have less follows than X, but they were all bots anyways 🤣.

I personally enjoy it way more than X. It feels like a lot of old community that disappeared over the past year is returning.
I’d wait and see what happens - we’re in the first ~20M account. That’s super early and arguably makes it easier break through.
TBD
I am getting exhausted with the whole rebuilt and the starter packs were not helpful, even though I’m sick of seeing them every where. My community is just gone.& I feel that academics just forget about the public.
Not large necessarily, decent network established over a long time.
It’s not only people, think of community accounts, student driven initiatives. Those accounts do need the support. Now all have to migrate, this is hard for them too. I am holding one of those accounts here…
Most community accounts that I am aware of won't really be impacted by the move as they barely saw any activity anyways. One of them has actually seen more traction on here.
The whole migration in this way was not beneficial to the community. If the juniors don’t get promoted or supported by the seniors, then what’s the point? I’m not saying that this should be the main agenda, but this should be among the main ones.
