I agree it’s hugely important, but the most salient parts could have been conveyed in a piece 25% as long. We need as many people as possible to understand the magnitude of the threat, but we are living in the tl;dr age, so a CliffsNotes version is needed.

I think we need to teach our children to speed read and do old fashioned SQ3R, a reading technique taught in schools. It helps you read fast. You get the main points. Then you go back and get so much more out of an article. I did it on this and the merits of the article came through loud and clear.

Gonna add one other thing here: yesterday, in an extended group meditation where I am on my break, I got a message that there is no America any more, there is only place.

I take this to mean that the notion of “hereness” that Naomi & Astrid describe and endorse here is an idea whose time has come.

I would have appreciated some perspective here - it's just as important to explain these apocalyptic ideologies as it is to point out how riddled with flaws and bad reasoning they are. This article did none of that, and while informative it gives these billionaire clowns far too much credit.

This was horrifying and provided almost zero comfort for the reader. There are so so many things fatally wrong with this heinous ideology, but this article does almost nothing to point anything out - rather it chooses shock and awe over critical substance.
