That totally makes sense. Based on some of the dates mentioned in the books, I figured you've probably spent far too much time with the god of death, either ideating or drafting. I'm planning on reading the Life Engineered next!

The Life Engineered is a very different book. But while I might be done (to a degree) with the God of St-Ferdinand, I’m not done writing about dark forces. And if you’re in the mood for something a little scary but also a little cozy, may I recommend giving the Achewillow podcast a listen? ;)
I'm waiting for my audible credits to fill for Life Engineered and am currently detouring with The Book of Accidents by Chuck Wendig (eh, not loving it so far - in novel Wikipedia citations were a choice...), so your podcast sounds like an excellent follow-up to the Sand Man (that cliffhanger...)
