We still want to bring more amazing speculative fiction from Brazil for all English readers, but we need to take some time, organize our house, open some windows and take in some fresh air. Mostly because we want to make Eita! last. And we can’t do that if the team feels overwhelmed and burned out.

A lot of our staff also left, for lots of reasons, mostly lack of time and having to prioritize their day jobs. With reduced staff, the amazing issues we’ve done so far become more difficult to be done, and maybe, they would be less amazing. We don’t want that.

So we decided to take a step back, look for new people (that will be soon. Brazilians, look out!), reorganize our staff and redefine our team’s priorities before calling for submissions and starting a next issue
