I wrote something up for AI people who want to get into bluesky and either couldn't assemble an exciting feed or gave up doomscrolling when their Following feed switched to talking politics 24/7.

One problem I had was to follow too many people in different starter packs, which created lots of noise. As a solution, I unfollowed them all using a script that I found on Reddit and then chose the starter packs carefully (in my case, Mech Interp, Continual Learning, and Formal Languages and NN).
I wanted to build a feed off a list of users, using a filter to only add their posts that were on topic, and in a certain window (3-5 days) and apply the HN ranking algorithm.
I wasnβt able to figure out how to replicate the feed I had built elsewhere.
I get papers from other sources (discord, slack, word of mouth, semantic scholar feed) and I feel like I have Too Many to read, rather than not enough. Pre-inauguration, I barely needed X at all. Bluesky paper threads have dropped off a bit post-inauguration, but that's why I wrote the guide.

(I donβt mind a robust conversation if everyone has an open mind and understands nuance)
Thanks for including it!

I tried moving one of mine over and I couldnβt get it work properly, so I switched back. I may try it again sometime.

If you like ML related posts then you will find what people who liked the same posts also liked in the last 24 hours.
That way you kind of automatically follow people who share your interests.
