GOD-damnit. I just escaped that other place and I'm still mourning the loss of many of the creatives I followed over there. Some are coming here, some are more active than they were before, but now everyone is scattered to the wind again.

I think now is a great time to find the creative community that is nearest to your physical location and start hanging out with them. Start a makerspace or a collective or something. Twitter and its derivatives are just cursed.

Gosh I wish you were wrong but it sure feels like this is fact. Between 1994 and 2020-ish, we had the Eternal September but now we're back to "I should find local creatives to help me realize my vision". Maybe ... maybe that's not a bad thing?
