Ours wakes us up at 4am. He spends the rest of the day sleeping unless I'm on important Teams calls when he runs round like a twat.

Honestly it has been bliss this past week after ours went a week ago. Having to set the alarm for the first time in years. Zero cat hair on clothes, less sniffles after him being in your face for an hour in the morning. It does have an upside them dying.

I have started to really miss him last couple of days. Keep hearing sounds, he used to drink from a glass at the side of the bed. Swear to god I hear it in the middle of the night. Coming home from work and him not running up to me is a killer.
