That is beyond wild! Some people have been extra nasty on AO3-- Like going out of their way to be horrible. I'm sorry that it's affecting you... Sometimes that means your writing is so powerful that it causes people to be emotional! :/

I'm not used to it anymore (almost no one leaves bad comments since I locked my fics because I can block them now), and whenever I receive one, it's a hard blow. It shouldn't affect me, but it does 😅 I need to work on this.

This person is now blocked and muted on Ao3. I won't see any of their bookmarks and comments again, but it still hurts (especially when you're self-conscious about your writing)

It keeps getting better with time (my writing was terrible 5 years ago 😂), but it's not as good as native people's writing, and I have to accept it will never be that good. But that's okay!
