Check out Dark Souls 1. Don't play 3 as it's heavily connected to 1.

2 is decent but ok to start there too.

If you have a PS5 then play Demons Souls. Its the first and easiest.

Demon souls is probably one of the worst souls games to start with, though take this with a grain of salt as I haven’t played it but seen many things on it both bad and good, as it has long levels and obtuse mechanics that are hard to understand Dark souls 1 is probably the best imo as it’s easy too

I've tried multiple souls games and just don't enjoy them. I really want to, but just don't. I lasted the longest in Elden Ring but still only got halfway and then got tired of it.

Understandable honestly, if I didn’t love Dark Souls as much as I do and just played it like a normal person I think I wouldn’t have beaten or explored a lot of them and missed out on tons of things

So I have never played any of the Dark Souls games. I have tried both Sekiro and Elden Ring, but the difficulty is just too much for me, unfortunately! 😓

Ahhhh, gotcha! Well I'm rubbish at all technical mechanics and so generally just get over-levelled and steamroll my way through, but seeing lots of people now say how hard Sekiro is I'm genuinely stumped how made it through it seemingly ok? 🤷🏼‍♀️
