i'm a non-eu user, and every time someone had shared links to opt-out forms ever since it all started, they gave me an error like "not found" or "not available in your region", even with vpn. honestly considering nuking my account at this point

the fact that there seem to be so many measures to prevent you from opting out, even though a non-region locked form would probably be easier to implement, just shows how hellbent they are on the ai bs
Exactly so nuke if you don't need it. 8 still sadly need it for certain work needs, but do what I did with Twitter. Just mass delete everything and leave the profiles dormant with no data
