Eco-rhetoric on almonds:
>1.5 million acres of almonds are grown in California, a terrible place to do this (plus monoculture farming is not great).
Almonds require more resources than the other non-dairy milks, but only 4% of Americans are vegan. This isn't grown for us & I prefer oat milk anyways

There's nuance here. Just pointing out that most almonds are grown w/o vegans in mind. Many often reference the negatives by growing almonds as we do.
Also, I've never met a vegan who says they like mono-culture farming (esp. in deserts). Personally, I support localizing produce & vertical farming.
