Trump thinks putting the blame on a "leak" relieves him of having to worry about future zoonotic origins of pandemics. When H5N1 achieves sustained H2H transmission, he'll just blame it on gain-of-function by the Biden administration or China/Iran/boogeyman-of-the-hour.
