I loved reading these, so I am so, so, so excited to see a tv adaptation! I hope they can pull off his character without relying on voiceover. And show his relationships with the others. Ratthi and Pin-Lee are my favorites.

the weird thing about casting alexander skarsgard is that he absolutely does not resemble the murderbot in my head. but also absolutely looks like a secunit.

the rest of the casting looks spot on, so i'll maintain an optimistic outlook.

Why not? Murderbot has no description. Non-binary humans can look like literally anything. A non-binary person can look like Margot Robbie, or Arnold Schwarzenegger.

You did not misread. SecUnit/Murderbot is genderless, using the "it" pronoun. I was hoping they'd cast a non-binary actor.
