Circle dont have to be perfect so long as you can see the perfect circle visually. One of the things I did was to stop relying on the stabilizer tools and just draw with either no stability or maybe at 1 or 2 when needed.
Only way it gets easier is to surpass those cumbersome barriers. And not just through practice but knowledge and understanding so you can use that to go even higher.
Thats awesome! I been drawing since I was 7 I am 43, I still learning a lot of fundamental stuff and am constantly still blown away by how much there is still to learn. Constantly focused on devouring more exciting tools and techniques to make drawing easier and fun.
Awe well I sure do hope you find that spark again. I hope you post more lovely paintings. if there is anything i love more than art its art of doggies. π
Well all I can say is try to find that joy thorough inspiration. Like explore more art, music or literature or just the world around you. Sounds unhelpful or cryptic but strange thing is only you know when you find it and you won't find it unless you seek it. When you find it you will know.
well for me personally art books like production art books got animated movies are a great way to find inspiration. as for like how to draw art books, well That honestly depends. I often stress for people who are like learning to draw or struggling to get better. just do fundamentals of art.
Granted most people which included me would avoid drawing shapes like circles, spheres and cubes but I cant stress enough how much of an upgrade they will give someones art once they can do them effortlessly because you can then build forms and depth and improve a skill level dramatically.
