Yes, I noted that in the next post. They've done that before. Opposition does tend to adapt political strategy but that doesn't mean organizers shouldn't seize upon opportunities that exist

Good idea but these will become less rare. My last two reps stopped holding in-person town halls in favor of carefully screened so-called “tele-town halls.” They only show up at fundraisers and events for conservative orgs.

While it's entirely possible GOP reps will withdraw from holding such in person events (this has happened before), these kinds of in person angry events really do put members of congress under pressure much more than than letters and calls do.

We saw numerous Democrats draw back from ACA in response to such town hall pressure from the tea party movement in 2009, for instance. And the GOP majority now is much smaller than the D majority then.

Showing up at town halls to boo, won't be enough. We are beyond that point. Show up and put your best acting face on and SCREAM at them with a WILD look on your face! No violence or threats of violence, but make them believe you are fully capable of violence.
